@dorm just finished lab final exam and visited the IEEE barbeque where they were voting for next year’s board…i think some of the ppl running are perhaps incompetent but all the props to them for taking advantage of the situation and running for these uncontested / little-publicized positions…the whole operation is a bit lame w/one girl running around giving ballots to ppl w/o taking down names or ID numbers…believe me there are quite a few unethical folk in the engineering dept. and i’m sure they could get their way and win fairly easily in such a small, non-advised voting session…saw two lynbrook people there - both older than me (one running for president), maybe i’m just a hater and think that i can do a better job than any of these candidates, lol yea maybe that’s it..the competitive/perfectionist attributes indeed, quite a crazy combination i guess. it’ll a play role in future situations, for now..focus on school and what’s important
