pick my brain
couple of items on my mind:
1) watching rock concerts like beck the other night makes me want to revisit the live band experience.. playing guitar or synth in a band and experiencing that amazing chemistry that occurs so sporadically when writing songs (unintentionally).. and that rewarding feel of playing live in front of an audience and performing your own material to a faithful crowd that digs your music.. that is so fun and i miss those days.. but on the bright side, while watching beck, i was starting to envision how it will be like in the near future when performing hip-hop/pop/r&b songs on-stage.. and i believe that it will be an amazing experience regardless, having the support of a live band would be a killer deal though -and that is still a definite possibility –oxymoron–, that’s for sure
2) this hair is getting far too long, when it’s touching your shoulders..you know it’s a bit long ya dig
3) had a weird dream last night that there was a grad night thing for our class in high school and the little game booths (like great america basketball/toss-the-ring/darts game booths) had a lot of money behind them..scattered about.. and i went and picked those up with the intention of keeping it all.. then, i saw mikey white, warren tsu, and the other class officers.. and they were talking about how all the cash had been stolen.. i felt so incredibly guilty at this point that i took warren aside and explained to him how i had taken some of the money from one room.. and that i was sorry.. etc… how weird huh
4) the “comfortable” stage in any relationship can be a zone of either 1. danger or 2. greatness. danger because the relationship has potentially gone stale and greatness because the two parties have become so comfortable that the trust factor has reached its all-time high (ok maybe not all-time high, but basically each party truly trusts the other party and there’s a very minimal degree of jealousy) and happiness has become the norm whenever the two are together or thinking of each other. just some thoughts
