Podcasting
Looks like podcasting could well be the future of radio. i’ve been
downloading some podcasts recently: engadget, podtech
entrepreneurship, i hate tech… it’s a pretty neat function to be
able to download these files FREE of charge and listen to them during
your daily life. my only concern is whether this trend, once
mainstream, will then be sold to consumers.. but given that Apple was
the company that started this venture, we should be in good hands…
I am very curious to see just how big podcasting will get. after
all, Yahoo has recently invested their efforts in setting up http://
podcasts.yahoo.com.. illustrating their confidence in the new trend.
Mark Cuban is pretty amazing, this guy… if you really think about
it, he is pretty damn rich / powerful.. sold his start-up to Yahoo in
the 80s/90s for close to $6 billion, then bought the Dallas
Mavericks, doin the Silicon Valley thing now, thinking about buying
the Pittsburgh Pirates, pushing the blog trend with his new company..
