meetings
today we had a couple meeting arrangements, met with elva hsiao’s manager for her expertise on promotion schedule, etc. and then with a former radio DJ and current artist promoter.. lots of good feedback to consider..
so far, most of the people i’ve met in taiwan have asked me if i’m used to the chinese food here and if my stomach can take it.. and my usual response is .. no problems, i love the food.. BUT two days ago, my stomach became quite upset and it took about a day or two to get over the discomfort.. after ..cleaning out my system if you catch my drift.. anyway, now i can see why ppl ask about that.. i guess that foreigners are not used to food sold on the streets which may not be totally sanitary sometimes.. while taiwan ppl are used to this and their stomachs have ‘adapted’, foreigners may meet some problems initially.. it’s kinda like chicken pox i guess.. you catch it when you’re young.. and then not again.. well, hopefully not again in the case of stomach discomfort.. :p
