i heard a really artistic indie-sounding record playing at a store yesterday and asked the clerk who it was. turned out to be this guy called maximilian hecker, bought his CD.. really beautiful (although a bit depressing) music. i would describe it as a combination of the touching, falsetto ways of radiohead, the softness of iron and wine, and a hint of the ours..

the music is deeply personal and simple yet artistic, it’s really enjoyable to hear this record on headphones and read the personal lyrics. brings me to another place.

what an experience.
