been recently re-visiting my collection of john lennon songs. listening to his music is like inhaling the purifying scent of coffee beans after smelling several perfumes/colognes at the mall.. to bring your sense of smell back to “reality” … in other words, it’s so refreshing!

for his time, john’s music struck truly meaningful topics that most people related to but didn’t have the guts to say… and he sang it with such passion / pride and no filtering which is what makes it all so powerful.. it’s like a girl who wears a very daring dress but wears it with such pride that she makes it look good… songs like “woman is the nigger of the world” and “god”… contain such piercingly (sp) harsh messages that are yet so true. man! dig in…
