Thom Yorke’s new solo tracks off The Eraser are awesome.
Trip hop + Electronica + Optimisim + Falsettos = Greatness
This is Thom Yorke’s (lead vocalist of Radiohead) first-ever solo album. The music / beats are very abstract on this album. The lyrics are (as always) esoteric and sometimes even Radiohead-esque — repetitions of the same phrase many times. What’s most interesting is some of Thom’s vocals on this record are very different from anything he’s done before.
