Apple iPod Newest Updates
So Apple just updated. Here’s the latest:
New iPod Video
30GB, 80GB space
Games feature
New iPod Nano
2GB, 4GB, 8GB space
New Colors, New Look
New iPod Shuffle
1GB space
New Look
You can Watch the Steve Jobs Webcast Presentation here. 80GB in memory space is ridiculously large for the iPod Video, but yet I thirst for it..
I think the games function for the iPod is a good idea — a steady step into the gaming world for Apple. Apple’s main focus right now is scalability, Steve knows that they can’t survive on the iPod’s success forever. For instance, now that Apple supports the Windows OS, they could theoretically own 100% market share of computer users (dropping the price of their computers would help in this area).
In the future, we’ll be seeing a lot more products besides just the Mac, the Powerbook, iBook, and iPod from Apple.

apple just keeps coming out with new products! i’m an apple user but sometimes these updates get to be overwhelming!

They’ve got a touchscreen Ipod Video planned, i believe sometime in the future. Although this may be a sneaky venture, I purchased my ipod at Costco 2 Xmas’ ago, and have traded it in for the newer models. Due to their lifetime warranty offer there I will be able to trade it in for the newer one when it comes out.
