Google Mini
Posted on 29 November 2006
Am I one of the last ones to hear about Google’s entrance into hardware?

The Google Mini, released in January 2005 and priced at $4,995. It’s geared towards large corporations, searches up to 50,000 documents on a corporate intranet. The price has now gone down to $1,995 for the 50,000 docs model. A pretty unqiue product, and who better to buy it from than the father of the most powerful search tool in the world?
I guess this is in line with my philosophy on Google Cubes in the near future.
I’m curious how popular this product is.

It does look pretty delicious. Almost like a ginormous blueberry jolly rancher…

I hadn’t heard that either…makes sense though. “Powered by Google” is now literally powered by Google.
