Las Vegas had me at Hello!
Just got back from Las Vegas last night. It was a super fun vacation with my girlfriend. What was so superfun about it?
Gambling! Winning a bunch of $, losing it, then winning it back, then losing it again, etc.

After losing some $, I decided to treat myself to a 99 cent ice cream cone at McDonalds to cheer myself up. (This photo is staged, I had the time of my life there) :)
What a ride! and what a rush! Gambling is as addicting as an activity can get. Seriously. I was excited every morning to hit the tables and win back the money I lost from the night before. What I’ve grasped after these few days on the battlefield is that the game of gambling is all about taking risks. Yes I know it sounds obvious, but it just makes so much more sense now. Very similar to life and personal/business growth. Risks can yield failure or success. Smart risks can lead to success. Random risks can lead to unpredictable outcomes like failure. It’s all very hard to gauge.
Las Vegas is great, I miss it already. :-/
