My LJ Beat is in the Top 100, Congrats!

Guess what? All you A listers, voters, and word-spreaders in the LJ Music Competition, your work paid off! My beat is officially in the top 100! What’s even better, up at position 19 (Although ranking is not as important, as long as I got in the top 100). Congratulations!!! I was so happy when I saw the posting on the Lebron 23-23 blog. I yelped and it scared my dad. So what’s next? These 100 beats have been given to the 5 judges (including 3 Atlantic Records folks). They will choose their 23 favorite beats, and then Lebron himself, Paul Wall, and Al Fatz will choose the top 3. May the force be with us!! I’ll keep you all posted. |

Thanks! Jesse - TV Johnny, never heard of him previously.. So he does all the jewelry for Paul Wall? He looks pretty thugmatic in those photos on MySpace :)
Noah, good question. When I first saw the contest ad, I knew immediately that I could offer some quality music. I love challenges and getting others involved, so it was a great opportunity to do just that.
