Rewind to the Past, Microsoft and Apple Hold Hands
I was surfing YouTube earlier today and came across a classic. Rewind to 1997. The Macworld Keynote in Boston when Steve Jobs publicly announced a partnership with Bill Gates and Microsoft. When Steve was at the bottom of a pit. aka Checkmate.
A very interesting and classic keynote address with memorable moments like several “boooooos” when Bill Gates shows up on the big screen or even when his name is mentioned.
It all starts when Steve proclaims that Internet Explorer will be the default browser for Macintosh. Ouch?
With Apple’s stock price down $10-15 shortly after the iPhone unveiling, AND after Steve was recently grilled by securities regulators about Apple stock backdating rumors…
Should we fear for Big Steve?
