Does your Daily Life match your Vacation Life?
Posted on 20 February 2007
It’s always tough getting back into the daily lifestyle after a 3-day weekend of fun and games. This weekend I drove down to Los Angeles with four good friends and hung out there for the weekend. Highlights of the weekend:
- Seeing Silverchair live in concert at a sold out show. One of my favorite bands, they rocked the house.
- Hanging out with my buddies and spending time with my girlfriend (she goes to school in LA).
- Meeting up with Matt, my partner for the Talkmatic site venture, for the first time.
Now I more or less dread coming back to school and homework/studying.

Wouldn’t it be nice if 3-day vacations were as equally anticipating as one’s daily lifestyle? What’s the secret to achieving this?

I am most definitely still into Silverchair. I STILL have to get diorama though.

…. ‘manly’? ;)
Silverchair is still rockin. Gotta listen to diorama. And some of the music I’ve heard from ‘Young Modern’ (their latest, coming out in March) is pretty phenomenal.
