Binary City on the Big Screen =.)
Watching ‘Binary City’ on the big screen was pretty surreal.
It reminded me of how incredibly rewarding it is when one can finally see return on an investment. It’s a feeling to live for. And to strive for. Seeing our film on the big screen in front of a packed crowd in a theater just made me feel so happy and enriched.
It didn’t matter that not everyone was there to see our film. It also didn’t matter if people liked it or not. Just to sit next to Mark, Todd, and others who were involved in the film and to watch our hard work on the screen was enough to make me smile. Needless to say, I was very happy and it almost brought a tear to my eye. =.)
It’s like the last scene in Ocean’s Eleven when they’re all standing on the bridge. That moment of reflection and content. ‘We did it.’ It’s such a beautiful feeling.

Thanks to Serena, Sherwin, Pawan, Ruke, Eric, Paul, Jesse, Jason, and anyone else I may have missed, for coming out to the showing. I was also particularly happy that my parents were able to attend. Thanks Mom and Dad! It means a lot to me that you all came out to support the film.
Today’s experience reminded me of why I should continue creating cool things and being involved in cool ventures. New and cool make me happy :)
If you’re still interested in checking out the film, there’s a showing tonight at 5:45PM at Camera 12 downtown San Jose.
