The Google Phone!
Yes my last post was about Google buses. But I saw this today in the San Jose Mercury News and on ZDNet and couldn’t resist blogging it.
Does it even make sense? Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, spoke onstage at Macworld 2007 about their exciting partnership with Apple. But… Could they possibly backstab Apple and release their own phone? Just recently, Google was pretty open about future collaborations with Apple.
One thing’s for sure. If Google does release a phone, it’ll be a hell of a lot cheaper than the iPhone. Google will be the Wii of phones and Apple will be …. PS3?

Balmers mannerisms about half way into it reminded me of Michael Scott… but what he said about price is true.
I’m actually thinking about buying one and I can swallow the $500 price but a 2 year contract and Jobs saying there going release an updated version relatively soon (before the contract is up at least), doesn’t make the iPhone all that appealing.

Charn, Steve Ballmer should make a cameo in The Office. That would be awesome, except half the viewers probably wouldn’t know who he is :)

I like the look of the i-phone, but google phone seems much cooler with the navigator.
