What the heck does Tony do all day?

A personal update every now and then does a blog good, right?
I’m living in Taipei right now and life is pretty steady and enriching. Three of my top daily activities are as follows:
- Ballin. Basketballin that is, I play quite frequently here at universities. Mostly pick up games, a lot of 3-on-3 going on over here. I play mostly on teams with foreigners from America, Canada, Africa, and the Carribean. It’s quite fun.
- Learning drums. This is something I’ve wanted to do for many years but never really found it practical to purchase an entire drumset. There are music practice studios where you pay USD$2-3 per hour for an air-conditioned room with a drumset. For now, I am learning on my own. Having programmed beats from scratch for several years now, it’s not too hard picking up the coordination. Thanks to my cousin Gary for the heads-up.
- Learning to dance. Don’t laugh, it’s true. =) Popping and sliding. Hip hop style. Maybe I’ll upload a video one day… My friend Lee from South Africa is teaching me, we use a university room with a large wall-size mirror to practice. It’s pretty smooth!
In the two graduation speeches at my university earlier this year, they both said that getting your electrical engineering degree is the first step in lifelong learning (or something like that). Pretty true I believe.

If you uploaded a video, I would definitely check it twice. Especially, if you start poppin or perhaps breakin(that’d be sick). Perhaps a before and after to show us how much you’ve improved? One for the laughs and uh, two for the show?
