It Ain’t Easy Being Smooth, Are You?

People like to see what they would otherwise not believe.
- Mark Wahlberg went to jail many times for assault and drug dealing in his teenage years. Now he’s one of Hollywood’s finest, a hit actor and producer.
- iJustine breaks stereotypes. She is a blond and attractive girl who graduated from a technical institute and is 100% versed in web technology.
- Diddy 1) produces new talent through his MTV show ‘Making a Band’, 2) runs the ‘Sean John’ clothing line, 3) makes records with only the top hiphop producers, and 4) is CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment.
- Popular hiphop producer Ryan Leslie graduated from Harvard University and afterwards suffered many years as an undiscovered musician before landing a gig with Bad Boy. He’s now one of the hottest.
What’s the point? These people are SMOOTH. They’re idolized, loved, and adored by people all over the world. They define themselves regardless of stereotypes or skepticism. It’s actually quite difficult to achieve.
I think we can all learn a lot from these people. Hell, even William Hung falls into this group-of-smooth too. :)
