Yep, I couldn’t resist. An iPod Touch I now own :)

So I figured that if you are interested in getting one, I will provide you with a few pros and cons from my perspective:

Pros:

1. It’s eye candy, very damn slim, and attracts people’s eyes.
2. The Safari browser and Wifi capability is really awesome. Very easy to use and go online.
3. Cover Flow in music mode on the iPod Touch is just too sweet.

Cons:

1. It can only store 8GB.
2. You cannot edit calendar events (you can only create new events on a computer).
3. Doesn’t come with a pouch to hold the iPod.

#2 under cons should change in the coming months with Steve’s recent decision to open the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms to the developer community. The keyboard is really not hard to use in my opinion. I got a transparent plastic protective covering over my iPod. Yes there will probably be better models coming out in Winter and early next year. But the jump in Apple stock price justifies this purchase ;)
