My iPod Touch Purchase is Merited Once Again by Mr. Jobs
This morning, a truly awesome moment happened.

I walked to my computer. What was I anticipating? Apple’s earnings announcement results and its effect on stock price. (Background: I had cashed out on Apple last week before earnings at $172, thinking that its earnings would be bad due to lower-than-expected iPhone sales.)
Here’s what I saw on my computer screen:

If you are not familiar with reading stock data, simply look at the green numbers. Green = good = increase in price. WOWZA. What does this mean? The iPhone sold well, in fact they sold well over 1.1 million units (better than the company’s projection). My brother then told me that the current ask price of the stock is $220. I’m almost in tears (of joy). :))
So the good news? I decided at the last moment to jump back on the Apple ship before earnings yesterday at $173. ;) I was inspired by the latest episode of The Office, specifically the last scene when Jan gets on the train with Michael. She tells him that he will be there for him through thick and thin. I am Jan and Apple is Michael. Yes corny but that was my inspiration. :)
My purchase of an iPod Touch is once again merited.
