Everyone (literally) likes a good listener.
It’s rare to come across something everyone agrees with… I’m damn sure this statement is true, no? (Goes hand-in-hand with my previous post about how most people care most about themselves)
This statement is key to
making new friends,
upping your reputation,
landing a date,
being a good friend, etc… the list goes on.

Two examples of this observation:
When you browse through photos, you want to find the ones that feature you.
When you read an article, if it doesn’t relate to you in any way = boring/useless.
