I don't think the phone is going to be cheap.. maybe a few hundred at least. Yes, Google plans on making a ton of ad revenue with the device, but I doubt that their business model for this device fits in the possibility of selling these phones (they will be smartphones) for under $300.. way too risky. People will buy it just because they'll have Google's services at the palms of their hands.</p> <p>I think Google just plans on releasing its technology the way it has on the Internet on mobile devices. In order to seamlessly integrate their software into hardware, they are looking into creating their own phone. Think about the iPhone and Google maps. Apple displayed how much potential there is for Google's applications on mobile devices. And because their phone used a multi-touch screen, they were able to make one of the most intuitive implementations of Google Maps ever. No other phone manufacturers have been able to do this before because the hardware was never created specifically for the software.</p> <p>There are a ton of possibilities for Google.
